Safe at Home Action Plan Communications
client: Yukon-Anti Poverty Coalition on behalf of Safe at Home Community Action Plan
I was hired to provide communications and conference planning support for the Safe at Home Community Action Plan for Ending and Preventing Homelessness in Yukon and Community Action Forum. The Safe at Home Plan, is a joint community-based plan spearheaded by Kwanlin Dün First Nation, Ta'an Kwächän Council, Yukon Anti-Poverty Coalition, City of Whitehorse, and Government of Yukon.
Conference Logistics & Reporting
Coordinated conference logistics, developed eight promotional ads and conference materials, and analyzed, wrote and designed summary report for the Safe at Home Community Action Forum.
Newsletter Copyediting and Design
Copyedited and designed six community newsletters to communicate to the public about Safe at Home's progress.
Visual Summaries & BrocHure
Wrote and designed two short visual summaries of the Safe at Home Community Action Plan and Discharge Planning reports and designed a Covid Support brochure for people with lived experience of homelessness.
